There was once this boy who didn’t appreciate anything. His parents would always try new things to try to get him to like the things around him. He didn’t say I love you to his parents or his siblings. He never said goodbye or hi to anyone. Basically he didn’t have manners of any sort. His mom once sent him to boot camp. He came home saying he didn’t even break a sweat and that he wouldn’t change at all no matter what they did to try to change him. His parent knew that this would affect him in the long run because he would never be able to have a decent wife, because he would never show the proper manners and his mom wouldn’t want him to have a wife with no manners.
He very much disliked his parents for some reason and they wanted to find out why so they can change whatever they need to change. The parents would do whatever they could to earn the love of their child. They tried to have a big talk with him so he could feel how much his parents love him. After the talk he said that he would not change and he went back to his room like nothing happened. This kid had the worst grades at school and his parent tried to tutor him and help him understand how much they love him. Even though that sounds like a good plan he still didn’t pay attention to them and started to text his friends about how annoying his moms sounds, like when she is talking about algebra.
They tried to give him free time to himself and give him the things he wants. He didn’t even say thank you when they would give him something or take him somewhere. His parents knew that wouldn’t work so they told him that they loved him with all their heart and they would never trade anything in the world for him, but as usual he didn’t care and he went to his room and started texting his friends. His parents wrote him a poem and this is what it said.
I feel like YOU need a break.
For your future love is at stake.
Remember when you were little and when I took you to that lake.
And this is not a fake.
When your dad showed you how to rake.
And when I took you to buy your 5th birthday cake.
And when you used to say ready…set…bake.
And for gods sake.
My head starts shake.
When there is no smile in your frame.
And it is such a shame.
And it's lame.
And every day it’s the same.
Like superman’s cape.
And when in the world you came.
You put a smile on my face.
And now in this case.
It’s a disgrace.
our love is going to crack.
But I still love you to the moon and back.
Still he didn’t care and he went to his room and started texting his friends. HIS PARENTS GOT UPSET AND WENT DRIVING TO GO FIND THERAPY FOR HIM. THEY STARTED ARGUING AND THEY WRECKED. They were rushed to the hospital and they were pronounced dead the next day.
The boy soon felt bad because he knew that his parents died without hearing 3 important words come out of his mouth.
I LOVE YOU.
He engraved the following words in his parent’s tombstone.
I am sorry for what I’ve done
For I was dumb
Now my life is numb
I wish you’re the bread and I’m the crumb
I was not a kid I was a bum
We never had fun
Let's go to the beach and run
I want to be your best son
Please I need you to come
I need to fight
With all my might
To make us shine and tonight
I want to make things right
I want you to be mine
Don’t just say fine
Love is not a crime
I hope you like this rhyme
This is sour like lemon lime
No lie
I remember when we enjoyed our Whataburger fries
When I was nine
Pass some…. Love
His parents were just pretending to be dead so he would admit how much he really cares about his parents. They went up to him and he ran and jumped on them and started confessing how much he really loves them. So after that he has behaved and really loved them. He became an a-b student and he now is in eighth grade in IDEA Frontier College Prep in Brownsville, TX, 78521 South Dakota Rd. Okay I’ve said enough. Go love your parents and don’t forget to eat your veggies.
