Commander IMPISI Eagle UKHOZI and ANGER
Born 1959, M, from Klerksdorp, South AfricaThis is a story of Anger, and eternal pain suffering agony, and sadness.
Once upon a time, there was a great soldier, warrior, leader, mentor, and Commander Called IMPISI, who ruled one of the greatest armies in the world. There were more than ten million soldiers in his army.
He was a huge man standing over 7 feet tall, built like a roman God.
He had muscles on muscles.
He was loved admired and respected for his bravery courage heroism love kindness knowledge and understanding. He was loved by all his fellow soldiers and by everyone who knew him in the kingdom of Gotham.
It is said that he had a favourite Eagle, one of many preying birds in his collection, and that Eagle was like his companion, best friend, and child in his life. The Eagle's name was Ukhozi.
He loved Ukhozi so much and trained him well to hunt and to always travel with him wherever he went. Ukhozi always sat on his arm during his travels around the continent, and only took to the sky on command. Ukhozi was his eyes far into the sky from above.
Hunting was one of the Commander IMPISI's best abilities and passions that he enjoyed with Ukhozi.
So, one day when He was out hunting with his group of soldiers, the spare time He rarely had, He got separated from the soldiers because He was chasing a deer that He badly wanted for dinner that night. A barbeque He always enjoyed with a few jugs of dry red wine made in one of the local wine establishments in Gotham.
Ukhozi is with him flying high in the sky. He then gets separated and loses sight of Ukhozi.
The Commander IMPISI is alone in the forest. He keeps following the deer deeper and deeper into the forest. No sign of Ukhozi.
After a very long track into the forest, with no luck on the deer, He sees a stream running nearby in the middle of the forest.
Commander IMPISI is very thirsty. He does not carry a water bottle with him, a duty that was left to his personal bodyguard, another huge man who originated from a land they call Egypt. His name was Enoch.
Commander IMPISI decides to stop, get off his horse, and have a refreshing drink.
He sees that the stream looks like a good clean stream to drink from.
The water is crystal clear and looks perfect for drinking.
The water is coming down through some rocks form above a small hill top. The stream seems to originate from the rocks above.
So He gets off his horse wanting to drink the water.
As He scoops up the water with his hands together acting like a bowl and puts his hands to his mouth. As out of nowhere, Ukhozi that has been flying high above, watching everything below him, comes down and attacks his own master.
Ukhozi comes down and he hits the hands of his master Commander IMPISI with such precision. A tremendous impact. A masterful act.
So, Commander IMPISI is shocked, and he drops the water.
His hands dripping with blood from Ukhozis’s massive claws.
He cannot drink the water. That makes him very angry.
His own Ukhozi, his own pet, his own beloved, stopped him from drinking the water.
His desire is thwarted. His ego is pricked and shattered. His anger levels rising quickly.
He looks up and he sees Ukhozi, as Ukhozi flies back into the sky, head tilted back watching him.
He is very angry. But, once again he tries to pick up the water to drink it.
Once again, Ukhozi comes down and hits his hand harder this time and makes him drop the water again. By now his hands are completely covered in blood with big gaping wounds from the big black claws of the Ukhozi.
Now Commander IMPISI's anger is flaring up badly. His anger had reached boiling point.
He looks up at Ukhozi and He shouts to Ukhozi, at the top of his voice.
You are my pet. You are my beloved. You are my be all and end all.
Dare you attack me one more time, I will teach you a lesson you will never ever forget.
Now once again he reaches out, picks up the water, but his attention is above him now in the direction of Ukhozi. He brings the water to his mouth and as he looks up, he sees his Ukhozi coming, sweeping down on him once again to attack him.
As Ukhozi comes to attack him, Commander IMPISI drops the water, takes out his magnificent sword, which has seen years of battle and put many men in their graves, and slashes and cuts Ukhozi into two pieces, with one swift blow.
Ukhozi is dead and falls down in a heap of beautiful feathers and blood. Commander IMPISI does not care about Ukhozi anymore.
His anger had now been quenched.
He is now focused on drinking the water and He is actually feeling quite victorious that He killed Ukhozi. Another scalp on his belt. No regret, no pain. His survival was a priority at all times. Hence the fact that He had stayed alive for so long.
He picks up the water to drink and just as He does it, He hears the shouts of his fellow soldiers, because they have seen him doing what He was doing for the fourth time now.
They start shouting at him telling him, do not drink the water, Commander IMPISI, do not drink the water. Please Please they scream.
They keep shouting at the top of their voices, because they know the danger Commander IMPISI is in.
Commander IMPISI stops, and He looks at them and he says,
Why do you not want me to drink the water?
I want to drink the water because I am very thirsty and tired.
They scream and reply back,
Because we have come from above there on the rocks, and in that pool of water where this water is originating from are a whole bunch of dead poisonous snakes.
The snakes have died, and they have spewed out all their poison into the water, and that is the water that is coming down these rocks and flowing to the place where you want to drink.
That is when Commander IMPISI understands what Ukhozi was trying to do.
Ukhozi was flying above with incredible eyesight, and it saw all the dead snakes and the danger Commander IMPISI was in and realized that his master was going to drink the water and poison himself and die a painful horrible tragic death.
So actually, Ukhozi was trying to protect and save Commander IMPISI's life, not hurt or kill him.
What did Commander IMPISI do in his anger against Ukhozi?
He killed his best friend and loyal companion, Ukhozi, who wanted to save and protect his life.
Ukhozis’s intention was survival for Commander IMPISI because Ukhozi loved and cared for him so much.
That is what anger makes us do.
It makes us take actions, make decisions, make choices, say things, and do things that we later often regret and sorrowful for at our own peril.
But remember, once something is done, once something is said, it is very difficult to bring it back. Sometimes and most times, impossible.
Commander IMPISI could never take back the death He caused to Ukhozi due to his terrible anger.
Once Commander IMPISI killed Ukhozi, there was no way to bring it back to life. Ukhozi was dead forever.
He regretted that for the rest of his life, but it also taught him a dear lesson and it taught him how to control his anger, and how to manage his anger for the rest of his life, with pain and sadness he would carry for the rest of his life without his trusted friend and companion the Ukhozi……

08/13/2024Thanks for this story. It is important to control your anger to prevent doing things that you regret. I think I will try my hand at discussing anger in one of my stories too. It will only be fiction, so no contest with yours.
