The Lion, The Bear, and The Fox.
In a lush forest teeming with life, the animals lived in harmony, each with their own strengths and wisdom. Among them were three remarkable creatures: Leo, the mighty lion; Bruno, the powerful bear; and Felix, the clever fox.
One hot summer day, as the sun blazed in the sky, Leo and Bruno stumbled upon a beautiful, glistening lake in the heart of the forest. Parched and weary, they both rushed toward it, but there was a problem: the lake was small, and it couldn't quench the thirst of both animals at once.
Leo roared, "This lake is mine! I am the king of the forest, and I deserve to drink first."
Bruno growled back, "I found it at the same time as you did. My strength demands respect, and I will drink first."
Their voices echoed through the forest, disturbing the tranquility and sending smaller animals scurrying. The argument grew heated, with neither Leo nor Bruno willing to back down. Just as it seemed they might come to blows, Felix the fox appeared, his sharp eyes taking in the situation.
"What's all this commotion about?" Felix asked, his tone calm and measured.
Leo and Bruno explained their predicament, both insisting they had the right to drink first. Felix thought for a moment, then smiled.
"I have an idea that might satisfy both of you," he said. "Instead of fighting, why don't we have a contest to see who can solve a riddle? The winner will drink first."
Curious and competitive, Leo and Bruno agreed. Felix continued, "Here is the riddle: I am not alive, but I can grow. I don't have lungs, but I need air. I don't have a mouth, and I can drown. What am I?"
The lion and the bear pondered the riddle, their brows furrowed in concentration. Leo, being the king of the forest, prided himself on his intelligence, but he struggled to find the answer. Bruno, strong and sturdy, was equally stumped.
Seeing their frustration, Felix decided to give them a hint. "Think about the forest and the life within it. What fits the description I gave?"
Leo's eyes widened with realization. "A fire! The answer is a fire!"
Felix nodded, impressed. "That's correct, Leo. You have solved the riddle."
Leo, true to his word, stepped aside and allowed Bruno to drink first. Bruno, grateful for Leo's honorable gesture, drank his fill and then let Leo drink.
