So much love,,,
Born 1959, F, from Buenos Aires, ArgentinaLove lost in small, seedy rooms,
sleazy bars and one night stands,
love lost in absolute denials,
time spent on laughable seconds
illusions shattered on stonewalls.
Love lost in pretty postcards
framed in the dark corridors
of our predictably eerie memories,
so much love lost to the winds,
so much passion woven in despair,
so much lust blooming irremediably
in the sad hours of bereavement.
So much love hurrying to its end,
just a pale angel with broken wings,
crying silently on entangled sheets.

05/03/2024You have a very distinctive style, this being the second of your stories I have read. I like the short snappy lines again, the alliteration of the first line and your use of language. "Predictably eerie memories" is a great phrase. And " illusions shattered on stonewalls" leaves just enough for the reader's imagination. You also have a skill for ending your writing perfectly. Love the last two lines, entangled sheets being a great finish.
