They both finish the competition and walk towards home. He goes to his home. The next day he wakes up, eats breakfast, and goes to school. A few days pass. Alan runs towards his friend, wrapping his hand around Manul's shoulder.
"I want to meet him," Alan says. "Meet him?" Manul says. "Ron, he has a street event. Moreover, it is free." "Ok, we will go, but the meal will be on you."
"Cool."
He wears a good dress, styles his hair. Nothing much special, this is the day the event happens. Alan and Manul talk about different things as they walk. They see a lot of people in the crowd. Soon they merge into the crowd. As soon as Ron comes to the stage, people start screaming as loud as they can.
"Wow, let's calm down a bit. I'm happy to see all of you here.," Ron says.
"Are you happy to see him?" the host says.
Everyone in the crowd says "yes"
The host asks people and the first person sings a song, and the second person plays an eye-staring game. Then the host asks again who wants to do it. Manul pinches Alan's shoulder. Alan raises his hand. The host says, "Ok, you, young boy," and points towards Alan. Alan steps up.
"Do you want to say something to him?" the host says.
"I really like you. You look cool when you swim. You shine the most when you swim. You are my idol. I want to be a great swimmer like you," Alan expresses it rapidly.
"I don't think I did enough to get this kind of praise. Thank you for that," Ron says.
"Do you have any questions for him?" the host says. "What inspires you to become a swimmer?" "I really like swimming. So I joined our school's swimming team. My coach saw me and suggested that I should do swimming. He convinced my parents. I felt happy doing swimming. Feeling I belong somewhere. So now I can say all of those experiences and hardships I had is my inspiration," Ron says, as Alan listens, his eyes sparkling.
He continues, "I saw you holding a banner of me. That was amazing." "I wish I had it with me. I really want to give it to you," Alan replies. "No, you don't have to. I was just saying." "Now you can come down, and the next person can come," the host says.
Alan can't believe he just spoke to his idol. "Now you have to really treat me to a meal. I got you up there," Manul says. "Ok, I will. Let's go to your go-to restaurant," Alan says.
A miracle happens. Later, when Ron is going towards his room after finishing the competition, he spots someone from the crowd. Ron whispers something to his manager. His manager talks to the boy and escorts him to Ron's room. The boy is none other than Alan. Alan and his friend go to the room.
"I remember you. I am glad to see you in my event," Ron says after looking at Alan. "I never thought of seeing you like this," Alan says as he gives his banner to him. "That means you left a good impression on me. I heard you like swimming." "It is an honor iof me" "Have you thought about your future? Perhaps what you want to do?" "I have never thought of it." "You know you should go to swimming classes. They are very good for you," Ron suggests.
Alan is silent. "Don't you want to pursue swimming?" "I want to pursue, but I have financial problems. Those classes are a little bit expensive for me." "Listen, I will sponsor you. I will pay for everything. I have never seen a persistent guy like you." "Well, thank you for all of this. I am very grateful for your offer. I will try my best. No, I mean I will do my best." "Leave your contact info to me. My manager will contact your parents," After expressing heartfelt gratitude repeatedly, he leaves with his friend.
"I don't know what's going on in your mind. Why are you suddenly doing this?" the manager says. "I see me in him. I was just like him," Ron replied.
Alan is walking with Manul on the sidewalk. He breaks into tears, continuously crying. Ron's generosity is beyond what he could expect. Here Manul is comforting him.
