Unconditional Love
Born 2011, F, from Rajasthan, Udaipur, IndiaUnconditional Love
Not only once, twice, or thrice; a hundred times in this world, many hearts are broken. But this broke and was cured again. They say ‘Love can cure hearts, bond them and may never let them break again’. But they also say, ‘If a bond is broken, then no matter how hard you tie it, there still is a knot that cannot be replaced. Not even love can cure it’ but that is not true. True love can cure anything.
So, here I am, to share this story of Larry and Alice in their quest to reunite with each other. So, let’s start, shall we?
On one snowy, winter in the UK in London, a girl, named Alice, waits. As if she waits there, for someone, she loves.
She from India, and studied in America at Stanford University, and at present the owner of her company in Japan waits… But why, why does she wait, and that too here in London? Is there something wrong?
Turns out that, she is not waiting but finding. Finding someone whom she lost…
When she was 14, she fell in love, in love with a boy name Larry. Not once, twice but thrice! And each day, she thought about him and while Larry too fell in love with Alice.
Larry, a young man of 27 lives in London. He too tries to find someone.
Only one day, Alice visits a friend in London, who knew about Larry and Alice’s love for each other.
Knock!
“Hey, Alice. I’m so happy to see you in UK! Please come inside.” Said Kate. Kate was Alice’s friend, she knew how much Alice loved Larry and Larry loved Alice. But she also knew what this story, was. It wasn’t a happy ending for them.
Alice, had to leave India at once. And, she wanted to be there, but they had to go to America.
Larry, too had to leave India. He had to go to UK. And then, they could never meet each other.
“So… What brings you here in UK?” asked Kate. “Ummm… I’m here for a project.” Said Alice. “I know why you are here. Why are you still looking for him? He left you, Alice!” asked Kate. “I cannot forget someone I loved. You are so insensitive, Kate. I can’t, I can’t leave him!” said Alice.
One hour later…
“I should leave now. It’s been an hour.” Said Alice. “Alice, don’t do it. Please, don’t!” said Kate.
She left her house, then she was walking in the Bridge Street.
While she was walking, a man was running and banged into her. And she fell down. While a man came and said, “I’m so sorry ma’am.” And he held his hand towards her, and helped her get up.
“I’m nuts. They call me that.” He said.
“Umm… I’m Sakura.” Said Alice. “What brings you here in London?” he asked. “Umm… I’m here for a trip. To meet my friend” “Oh, then if you are here for a trip you should have a guide. If you need any help, you can call me.” He said passing a chit to her that had his phone number. “Oh, thank you very much… I’m delighted to be your friend.”
The evening passed, and so did Mr. Nuts feel happy…
And then came the night. Alice had gone out to get a cup of Hot Chocolate, as she went in, she sat in a small, cozy and hot corner.
Just at that time, Mr. Nuts had entered the café, and he saw Alice crying in the corner
“Oh, Hello Miss Sakura, why are you crying?” He asked…
As soon as she saw him, she quickly wiped her tears, stood up and said, “Oh, Mr. Nuts, it’s nothing” “Is there something wrong, Miss Sakura?” “No, nothing. I’m sorry.”
She left the café, Mr. Nuts, too was thinking about her…
Soon, she was on the street, walking to her hotel…
Why was she even crying? Was she too finding Larry?
Was Larry finding her? Maybe.
I think, she was finding him, now he was too…
But where was he?
It was 8:30 Pm… Soon she got a call from Mr. Nuts. He invited her for a dinner in the same café.
It was 9:00 pm when she reached, he asked, “Why were you crying? Is it because of me?” “No, not because of you. I- I am finding a friend, but I can’t find him, I leaving tomorrow, going back to Japan…” “Oh, then it was a good idea that I invited you for dinner…” “Thank you”
So, he walked with her to the hotel, “Bye, Mr. Nuts, thank you for the lovely dinner.”
The very next day, she left…
A few days later, Mr. Nuts visited Kate’s home, he asked her about Alice. “Hello, I’m Larry and do you know anything about Miss Sakura?” “Larry… It’s really you? She came here to find you! And you were with her, every minute…” “Alice, how did I not know this” He took the card she gave him and read the name on it…
Next day he left London and took a flight to Japan…
The next day, Alice got a phone call from her office telling her that someone wanted to meet her. She hurried to see Mr. Nuts, there waiting and shouting “ALICE!!!”
“LARRY!!!” Bang!
…
They rushed to the hospital, only to see him die in her arms.
Again, she lost him…
Forever…
