Curses Come Home To Roost
F, from Mianwali, PakistanThe library was said to be the scene of regular paranormal activity. Three students who were the victims of bullying had committed suicide there; therefore, the school administration closed it and prohibited students from going there. A tormentor, Henry, was bullying a weak but kind-hearted boy, Leo, in the corridor near the library. He was calling Leo a scared cat and making fun of him. The former tried to kick the latter, but accidentally kicked open the door of the library and fell in the library. The door closed viciously by itself.
The library was dark and empty. There were spider webs everywhere. Books were covered with dust. It was summer, but suddenly he felt draughts of cold air, and the temperature dropped to chilling degrees. He began hearing frightful noises. All of a sudden, he smelled the scent of perfume and felt a ghostly touch on his shoulder.
He turned and saw the ghostly figure of one of the dead students, who was gazing at him. He tried to run, but his feet became numb. He witnessed ghostly figures roaming up and down the library. Suddenly, someone whispered in his ear, "Don't you want to bully us?" Hearing this, Henry started screaming for help. The books from the top shelf fell on Henry's head. He continued to shout for help.
Leo broke the window glass and opened one of the windows of the library. He entered the library, grabbed Henry's hand, and both of them jumped out of the window. As soon as they came out, the library window returned to its original state. Henry had learned his lesson. He regretted his behavior. He apologised to Leo and promised not to bully anyone again.

05/24/2023You are right. Bullying is an unacceptable and damaging behaviour. Those who choose to bully must face the music.
Thank you for taking the time to appreciate the story.
