Runaway
Born 2006, F, from New Lisbon WI, United StatesOne evening me and my friend Emilee were walking home from school and talking about all the things we wanted to do after we got done with school. Emilee decided she wanted to become a veterinarian, and I told her that I was going to join the military. As we were walking we saw two kids running, then sirens. “Kids must be runnin’’ from the law”. Emilee said while placing her hands on her hips. “Juvenile delinquents” I shook my head. When we got to Emilee's house I reached my arms out to give her a hug. She said “see ya tomorrow Lindsey” and ran inside. As I approached my house, my little sister, Ava came running up to me and literally almost knocked me down. I grabbed her hand and walked her inside. Mom already had supper done, my favorite meal, spaghetti. “Hey dear I made your favorite tonight”. She said walking to the sink to wash her hands. I walked to my room. “Thanks mom,” I shouted to her. I had lots of homework to do so I grabbed out my math textbook and notebook. Slowly working on each problem when there was a ringtone blaring it was my phone, I searched around then finally saw it was on my dresser, quickly I picked it up and answered it. “Hello?” I replied briefly. A girl yelled in my ear “Hi!” Then I realized it was Emilee. She told me how there was this cute boy that moved in right nextdoor to her. I said that it was too early for me to date right this second. I ran downstairs when I heard my mom call my name. The end
