Who Who Who
Born 1956, F, from Smithville/ Texas, United StatesWondering
Remembering
Who who who
Lives deep
In the ocean between
Me and the Island
So I swim
Courageous not strong
Just to see
Who who who
Lives in the deep
Between
The Island
And me
Who Who Who(Martha Huett)
Wondering
Remembering
Who who who
Lives deep
In the ocean between
Me and the Island
So I swim
Courageous not strong
Just to see
Who who who
Lives in the deep
Between
The Island
And me

02/14/2021Why, thank you! Also thanks for asking. I was inspired to write a poem after I read 'The Unkempt' by Aciis Khatiwada, here on Storystar. The last line about natural beauty really stuck with me especially when I reminisced about swimming out to an island when I lived a primitive life off the Pacific Coast of Mexico.

02/11/2021Lol. Ain't that the truth! A few decades back, I would swim out to an island a half mile from my beach hut in a tiny village off the Pacific coast of Mexico. Who knows what's under there looking at us...:)
Thanks for commenting, Tim. This was my very first poem.
