King with no Kingdom
Born 1973, M, from Ocoee, Florida, United StatesKing with
no Kingdom
A King in title alone, never sitting high upon a throne. The hat of a jester rather than a crown sits upon his head because his laws are a joke and his word is dead. His subjects run about doing as they please for no one bows to him instead they keep him on his knees. There are no knights in the land to keep or enforce the law nor a bishop of wise counsel comforting with words of warmth like a shawl. The rooks run a muck in the palace doing as they please while over them the Queen fawns while the King, the might-less King, is treated more like the pawns. Low is his thrown where he sits in his own tears that pool, because in actuality his throne is no throne it is merely a toilet stool. The Kingdom has a ruler and to him it is now clearly seen, because the King has no kingdom this land is ruled by the Queen. A love they once shared was thought to be a love so great; but unfortunately his Queen, once his loving bride, has now declared checkmate.
