The Land of Magic
Born 2010, F, from Beaverton, United StatesWhen I woke up the next morning, my stomach felt like it had butterflies in it. My family and I are going to The Land Of Magic! It’s like a fantasy land. Whatever you want to do or have, it pops up right in front of you! And the best part is, if you wish to have something that is made up, it still pops up in front of you, whether you want a dragon, or a unicorn! You could also take what you wished for back home. If you wished for something you couldn't take home, like a very big castle, you could wish to take it home. It’s a wonderland because lots of people go there and wish for stuff, like roller coasters or ferris wheels and everyone can play with it!
My parents are almost ready to go. We are going to stay at The Land Of Magic for two months. We didn't need to pack because you could just wish for the stuff you need. Like clothes, or water to drink.
Yay! It’s time to go! There is a very special airport, the only one that has a flight to The Land Of Magic. We drive one hour to get to that airport.
When we got to the airport, we lined up in a special line to go to The Land Of Magic.
We went through lots of lines and finally, we got to the boarding area. We waited for what seemed like forever. Even though I didn't need to pack anything, I still packed a few books to read on the plane. I thought reading would make waiting feel faster, so I took out one of the books and began reading.
After I read a few chapters, it was time to board the plane. We took our tickets and walked along the plane. We found our number and sat down. We waited for the rest of the passengers to find their seat so we could take off.
I sat and stared out the window as the plane took off. After thirty minutes I took out the book I was reading at the boarding area and found the page that I left off and started reading.
Finally, the plane landed. We were here, at The Land Of Magic. We walked off the plane and into the airport. We walked outside to a big wonderland. I saw a ferris wheel, a huge swimming pool with water slides, and even a group of unicorns that you could ride on! I wished for a kitten to cuddle and play with.
It was lunch time now. We found a restaurant and sat down at a booth. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. While I was waiting for my food, I played with the kitten I wished for. It had white fur and round black eyes.
When my food came, I ate the burger and fed a bit of meat to the new kitten I wished for.
After lunch I rode on the ferris wheel, roller coaster, dragons, unicorns, and swam in the pool.
It is night time now. I am happy that I get to live here for two months. It was so fun today that it only felt like a minute. I wish I could stay here longer, and get new ideas on wishing. Next time I get the chance to come here, I’m going to ask my parents if I could stay longer.
The End!

05/18/2019What a wonderful fantasy land you've imagined, Audrey! I can think of all kinds of amazing things I would want to wish for if I could live in a place where all of my wishes came true. How cool that would be! Thanks for sharing your fun fantasy story on Storystar! : )
