Misty
Born 1942, F, from Clearfield, utah, United StatesMisty
Here is my sweet little Misty girl. I had her for 19 years.
We had coffee together every morning, she loved half and half in hers, then she'd fall asleep, usually with one ear hanging over the cup. There has ...never been another animal that I have had, who touched my heart in such a special way. I truly believe she knew exactly what I was telling her, or anyway she reacted like she knew. We were the best of friends. She slept in my bed, and had the total run of the house. She told me what she wanted too. She mostly liked people food, although she would eat most of a big can of dog food too. Then I would put the rest in a plastic container sealed in the fridge, for later.
My last exhusband seemed to always be hungry, if it wasn't tied down, he'd eat it. He was the man who was always out on the town, looking for the next skirt he could conquor.
It was time for Misty to have more food, and I asked him if he knew what had happened to the plastic container that was in the fridge. He said, "Oh yeah, I had that on a sandwitch, it was pretty good." I thought to myself, "Good", you stepping bastard, but you don't even deserve that.
