Sights and Sounds before and at a Match
Born 2008, M, from Karachi, PakistanThe hues of pink and purple symbolized the end of day and the start of night. I waited impatiently outside the lofty edifice to see my favourite singer Ed Sheeran. An interminable queue was lined up in front of me. As the colossal door swung open, I was greeted by a large sea of people teeming with excitement. As far my eyes could see zealous fans with bated breaths impatiently waited to see their favourite singer. Some even cried copiously. Suddenly, my eyes caught acrid smoke making and entrance to the stage. Strobes of lights danced in the room as Ed Sheeran came on to the stage. Cacophony of sounds resonated in the room as Ed started singing ‘Shape of You’. Seeing my favourite singer, my impatience and anticipation reached a new level. The crowd became boisterous as everyone danced and jumped.
All of a sudden the roof top opened and all of could see the vast sky filled with a plethora of colours as fireworks
rose in the air. Deafening sounds of it battered my ears. Seeing his fans brimming with eagerness, Ed started throwing out merchandises unintentionally. Everyone scurried around to get the merchandise. After singing ‘South of the Border’ he faded into the acrid smoke. Everyone became glum and started walking out of the edifice.
Now the room which was once filled with a plethora of people was now empty.

04/08/2021That is some pretty impressive writing and vocabulary for someone so young. I am guessing that you had some help with this one, Aahil, but you have done a great job in describing the sights and sounds of this event. Thank you for sharing your true life story on Storystar.
