The Elephant Ninja
Born 1976, F, from Cedar Rapids, IA, United StatesThe elephant ninja wanted a name, so stealth he called himself in his game.
He tried to be sneaky and tiptoe around, only to find his feet loudly pound the ground.
He found a nice mask he thought he would try, but his ears always seem to send it in the air and fly.
The outfit he found to hug his body, unfortunately, was too small for his very large belly.
He sneaked around in ninja ways but found he wasn’t quite hidden from the sun’s rays.
The trees didn’t cover all of his elephant body, and he couldn’t quite get close to the ground for creeping around.
His mind was determined and his outfit was finally ready, but this elephant ninja might need some more training.
He thought he could jump from roof to roof but found it didn’t work when he fell through with a poof.
When he grabbed a stick for his fighting staff, his trunk held it too tightly and it snapped in half.
One thing he did find that gave him much hope; he could hear every movement in his ears no joke.
When he used the couch to hide from his brother, his trunk or his tail would stick out one end or the other.
The ninja inside him was stronger than ever, but he seems to find himself hard to cover.
Stealth was determined to be a ninja one day and would train with all his heart to achieve the ninja way.
As he sat down and looked around, he saw that others had dreams to be found.
The rabbit down the street was practicing football in his cleats.
His buddy the bear always says he will play later because he wants to practice for being a famous ice skater.
The turtle in class who wears sweaters because he’s cold, dreams of Olympic running for gold.
His friend the penguin with a wingsuit on has sky diving dreams to fly beyond.
As stealth thought about his ninja books and dreams; he began to realize no matter the dream he could just be the best ninja he could be.
Until he changed his mind and began dreaming of becoming a tight rope walker.

BEN BROWN

A very well written piece of work. It's very likely that all animals do have dreams like people, even at night.
