The Universe Filled With Skittles
Born 2003, F, from Staffordshire, United KingdomHave you ever wondered how the universe was created? Well here's the story...
Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a shop. But not just any old shop, but a giant's shop. And in this giant's shop was obviously giant's food and sweets and all the things we have in our shops, but bigger. Inside this giant shop was a giant shelf, and on this giant shelf were some giant packets of skittles. Now, giant's absolutely love skittles, like you and I. So, this giant reached out for the packet and picked it up. He lifted the packet up to his right ear, and started to shake it. He listened to them rattle round. However, what he did not know is that inside this packet the skittles were bouncing and rubbing off each other, and that something amazing happened. The colourful skittles bounced and hit off each other, and while this happened something inside the skittles was activated. Each individual skittle exploded. One after another. On each skittle things started to grow. On one skittle individually. That skittle was Earth. Oceans grew, land grew, fish and birds grew and many many many other things that we know of today grew on that skittle.
Once the giant stopped shaking the packet, the skittles stopped bouncing around and were re-arranged into how the planets are today. Now, something you must know, giants move very slowly compared to you and I. Every time the giant who carries our universe takes one step, an Earth quake happens, since the skittles rattle a little.
Something else you must know. The universe will end when the giant eventually reaches his house, opens the packet, and starts to eat the skittles one by one. Every time one skittle is taken out, a planet will disappear, until eventually there's nothing left. This cycle will repeat each time a giant gets a packet of skittles, so you could imagine the amount of different universes there are around the world.
